Deep in thought as I arrive to my yoga practice.
The ideas in my mind swirl around like rustling wind.
A bit to fast, got to go slow.
I come to ground, my feet connected to the earth like those of the roots of trees.
I grow tall and quiet, opening up the light within my chest.
Stress flows away as I breathe into my stillness.
Adrienne whispers the words of Patanjali.
Do only what is necessary, she speaks.
For if we do too much we expend too much energy.
Do to little & our task to be accomplished becomes undone.
Centre in to what your needs are. This is your practice. (This is your life)
It is your time to feel alive.
It is your time to feel loved.
It is your time to feel free.
Those snapshots of time within your life, where you find your most mindful moments in between the thoughts of your day. Pure bliss.
